Reverse Engineering
We had to take many steps to recreate this film scene. First, we had to rewrite the script, then create storyboards and study the scene's lighting, then decide who the actors would be, then find our location. We had to use the 180 degree technique (using three angles to make it look like the actors are facing and talking to each other) to shoot some of the dialogue.
Some successes we had are within the camera work, I feel we got very close to how the scene looked and felt. However, we could have had a better location with better audio free of other sounds, as we were in the school library and it was near impossible to avoid interruption.
