Rear Window Sound Design
In the film Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock, the sound design was used to bring the film and its setting to life. The streets and civilians are hustling and bustling as a dog is digging up flower bed and Jeff is on the phone. The balance of the different noises that can be heard immerse the viewer into the film, which can increase the emotional investment into the film.

Audio Basics
The 0 dB sound file felt very loud and noisy, the audio had to be turned down for a better listening experience.
The -12 dB sound file was a bit low but was very clear, and felt perfect when it was made a bit louder.
The -40 dB sound file was incredibly quiet, even with the boosting of the audio.
